THE SECRET PLACE///El PASO
VISION
Our vision is first to seek Him, find Him and know Him. To learn to pursue Him in the secret place and pursue Him in such an intentional way that it transforms us naturally and causes us to to love God and love people.
What is The Secret Place?
We are a ministry in El Paso, TX. With our vision in mind, our first goal is to learn to be in the secret place with the Father by sitting at the feet of Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

The actual phrase "The Secret Place" is mentioned a few times in scripture (Psalm 91, Psalm 31) and it refers to the place where we meet with the Father. We believe that everything is from Him and for Him. Everything flows through Him and from Him. For that reason, everything we do must be rooted in learning to do that exactly. Our number one goal is to disciple others in seeking Him, finding Him and knowing Him.

With that, we believe that He has given us the tools to do that. Through worship, prayer and scripture, we have the ability to encounter the Father by gazing upon the face of Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

We will give people something practical to put into practice that will teach us to sit at His feet.​

MEET US
PASTOR JORGE MUÑIZ JR
I have a beautiful wife, Ashley, who serves by my side in more ways than one. Couldn't do ministry without her and wouldn't want to. We were married in December of '08 and we have three daughters, Alma, Ari and Jahdyn.
​
I have served in church ministry since I was a teen my self. In Jan, 2007, I joined the church staff at Christ's Church of Roswell, NM where I served as worship pastor for 12 years and as youth pastor for 5 years. Serving at one church for 17 years has taught me so much, most importantly, learning to sit at the feet of Jesus.
​
I not only serve as pastor for The Secret Place but I am in full time missions with a beautiful organization (Casas Por Cristo) who builds homes for those in need in Juarez, Mexico and many other countries. We joined their team in 2024
​
Why El Paso, TX? We really felt that with what the Lord is leading us to do, we almost could have gone anywhere, but El Paso is my home away from home. I was raised in El Paso and have many roots in the city. So we want the opportunity to invite people to a seat at the table. To introduce them to Jesus so that they actually know Him.
